The Mets have decided to forgo winter ball for Bobby Parnell and Dan Murphy.
Parnell was going to winter ball as a starter, it was his decision to not play this winter but this might mean they decide to forget the Joba esque dramatics and leave him at what he's doing best, setting up.
Not sure what it means for Murphy, who last year after hitting .313 in 49 major league games, lit it up in the Arizona Fall league and convinced them not to sign a left fielder. I thought Murphy's oneSource: Mets Fever RSS Feed
