A local police chief in Florida says Tiger Woods’ wife used a golf club to smash out the back window and helped get the golfer out of the car.
Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor told The Associated Press on Friday that Elin Nordegren told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and came outside. Saylor says officers found Woods laying in the street with his wife hovering over him.
Since the Mets are in the market for a catcher, anytime I come across any information on an available catcher I pass it along.
I personally would rather see the Mets acquire a catcher through free agency and save their chips either for further development or bigger pieces they attempt to acquire. I just don't see the significant up-grade in players that can be traded for from those on the free agent market.

Allen Wilson of the BUFFALO NEWS reports starting Buffalo Bills offensive right guard Eric Wood “sustained a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula in the fourth quarter of an 18-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.”

Wood was taken to a Jacksonville hospital, where he had immediate season-ending surgery. It is not known when he will be able to travel back to Buffalo.

According to Adam Rubin at the Daily News the Mets are intrigued by Joel Pineiro. This is the second time this short off-season that Pineiro has been mentioned. It all depends on who you talk to in regards to him, some believe he always had the talent and just became confident in his skills, while others believe he's a product of Dave Duncan.
