Adam Rubin of the Daily News has some great quotes from Brian Schneider who appears to have excepted his fate, that he will not return next year to this team. Schneider never lived up to his reputation as a stellar defensive catcher and while we all expected him to be a weak hitter, no one could have seen him hitting under .200. I do believe most of his struggles can be attributed to nagging injuries that he's played through.
